1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules and guidelines for using the Foodie App and website (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

  • Illegal Activities – Using the Services for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Fraud & Misrepresentation – Impersonating another individual or business, providing false information, or engaging in fraudulent activities.
  • Spam & Unsolicited Communications – Sending spam, phishing messages, or any form of unauthorized advertising.
  • Harmful Content – Uploading or distributing content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Security Violations – Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfering with the functionality of the Services, or engaging in any activity that could compromise security.
  • Automated Access & Scraping – Using bots, scrapers, or other automated means to collect data from our Services without permission.

3. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for any content you post, upload, or share on the Services. You agree that:

  • Your content must be lawful and must not infringe on the rights of others.
  • You must not post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • You grant Foodie a license to use, display, and share your content for promotional purposes.

4. Fair Use & System Integrity

To ensure a fair experience for all users, you must not:

  • Overload our servers with excessive data requests.
  • Use the Services in a way that disrupts or degrades performance for others.
  • Circumvent any restrictions or access unauthorized features.

5. Consequences of Violating This Policy

Violating this Policy may result in:

  • Warnings or temporary restrictions on your account.
  • Permanent suspension or termination of your access to the Services.
  • Legal action if your actions result in harm to Foodie or other users.
